Go with the Caprice and remove the headlights, at least the animal will have a chance with that one.

It is illegal to hunt using a car as a weapon, FORGET IT.

The Crown Vic is heavier and a better choice. Install headlight covers in heavy metal mesh, and get a re-enforced steel bumper..Remove any hood ornaments (obviously)Be sure and slide down into the seat as low as possible when driving..You don’t want Mr or Mrs Whitetail to wind up in your lap after he/she comes thru the windshield…OH and don’t forget a Cellphone with 911 set up on speed-dial to call for an ambulence if you get hurt. Last but not least BUCKLE UP….IT’s the LAW…..lol

i had a 1973 chevy caprice which was painted yellow. i hit and killed 5 deer with it and never dented it at all. good hunting!!

Crown Vic definitely. Make sure it has the police package with that spotlight still attached to the drivers side door. Those are really handy. You shine one of those in the deers eyes and they just stand there and stare at you………don’t ask me how I know but…yeah……..

I would go with the Crown Vic, police package if possible. The trunk has more stash room for hauling more than one at a time. I like to hunt entire herds at once. Then just use an assembly line method to filed dress them as you wait for the trooper to show up or County Mountie if you have to wait for a number or certificate to possess the animals like we do here.
If it takes a really long time I like to have a Weber Smokey Joe along and grill up some back strap while I am waiting. You might check with a welder if you plan on using this method extensively and have some guards welded to the frame for you windshield or get good at ducking like JD advised. A few solid grates around you lights and grill so you do not get stranded also because you crush the radiator.
I always carry foil with me too so I can throw a Hobo dinner together if I don’t have time for the grill. I just wrap some spuds, carrots, butter, salt and pepper along with the slices of strap and double wrap it in foil and throw it on the Car B Q and it is done when you get home to the Mrs.

I think you ought to give a motorcycle a try. They are smaller than the cars that you asked about and that makes them harder for the deer to see. A nice quiet stealth muffler would be a good thing to put on it. Put a nice camo job on it, take it to where the deer are and then wait until just about dark. Rev that momma up, pop the clutch and you are deer huntin’, baby! Bambi ala Harley….. Yum!!

Don’t forget to stop at Joe Pesci’s mother’s house to borrow the steak knife in case the foot? paw? hoof? whatever gets stuck in the grille. Mangia!
